The 2020 Chevy Blazer was recently named the Best New Midsize SUV, which is part of the Good Housekeeping Institute’s Best New Family Car Awards. If you’re in the market for a new two-row SUV in Dixon, Illinois, consider this family-friendly Blazer.

The Blazer is a midsize SUV that comes with seating for five people, over 64 cubic feet of total cargo space. The Blazer can also easily tow 4,500 pounds, when properly equipped, so you can bring along a small trailer. Plus, drivers can pick between a 2.5-liter engine, 2.0-liter turbo, or a 3.6-liter V6.

“A stylish exterior and an appealing aesthetic wraps this practical, fun-to-drive crossover,” said Rachel Rothman, Good Housekeeping Institute head engineer and chief technologist. “You’ll enjoy a confident, responsive drive that stands out on city streets and highways alike.”

The institute tested each vehicle for convenience, considering things like cargo space, convenience, safety, and infotainment. The Blazer, for example, has Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ to let you hook up your smartphone to the in-vehicle media system, accessing apps, playlists, contacts, and more. Each vehicle is tested for 5,000 miles by the Good House Keeping Institute for the Best New Family Car Awards.

And there are even more seating options available in the 2022 Traverse.

Standard safety features

It wouldn’t be a complete makeover if Chevy didn’t throw in a few more standard features on the 2022 Traverse.
