The Chevrolet Equinox is getting some exciting updates for the 2021 model year. These updates include fresh styling, a new trim level, and more available safety features. With these updates, the Equinox gets even better and more versatile.
The first thing you might notice about the 2021 Chevrolet Equinox is the new front and rear fascia design. The sharp, new grille gives the Equinox a more aggressive design. For an even sportier look, you can choose the new RS trim with a gloss black grille, 19-inch Dark Android wheels, black side rails, black badging, and black bowties. The styling continues inside with red accent stitching on the black upholstery.
Standard safety features on the 2021 Equinox will include Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Forward Collision Alert, IntelliBeam® Headlamps, a Rear Vision Camera, a Following Distance Indicator, and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning. You will be able to add even more safety with available options like Automatic Parking Assist, a HD Surround Vision Camera, and Front and Rear Park Assist.
There will be two engine options to choose from. The base engine is a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 170 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. You can get more power from the available 2.0-liter turbocharged engine rated at 252 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.
