Get ready for a Chevrolet Silverado that scales new heights of performance, capability, and efficiency. Whether you’re at work or at play in Dixon, Illinois, the upcoming electric Silverado is sure to exceed your expectations for what a truck can do.
Chevy hasn’t released details about the electric Silverado yet, but we have some pretty good guesses about what it will offer. Battery-powered trucks can deliver huge amounts of horsepower, torque, and towing capability, and we expect the electric Silverado to excel in these areas.
The electric Silverado will also offer substantial driving range — more than 400 miles on a single charge, according to a recent Chevy announcement. With this such freedom, you won’t need to worry about taking long, inconvenient charging breaks or running out of juice in the middle of a job.
In its electric form, this truck should offer all of the same features that you know and love from the gas-powered Silverado. With highlights like the high-strength Durabed and Multi-Flex Tailgate, 15 available trailering camera views, and all the latest safety and infotainment tech, the electric Silverado will deliver top-of-the-line quality and value.
We do know for sure that the electric Silverado will be built right here in the United States. The truck itself will be manufactured at the new Factory ZERO assembly plant in Michigan, and it will be powered by Ultium batteries made in Ohio. That’s not far from our great state of Illinois!
Here at Ken Nelson Chevrolet in Dixon, we can’t wait to welcome the electric Silverado. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as new details come out on this exciting new truck. In the meantime, you can find plenty of used Silverado trucks in stock now in our inventory.
